EverKey ("we", "us", "our") is operated by CarbonLoom Ltd. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the EverKey VPN application and related services.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information: Email address and password (hashed) when you create an account.
Payment Information: Transaction records processed through Apple In-App Purchase or Shopify. We do not store credit card numbers.
Usage Data: Aggregate data transfer amounts (bytes used) to enforce plan limits. We do NOT log browsing activity, DNS queries, IP addresses of sites you visit, or VPN session content.
Device Information: Platform type (iOS/Android) for providing the correct app experience.

3. How We Use Your Information

To create and manage your account
To provide VPN service and track data allowance
To process payments and credit data plans
To send service-related communications (e.g., password reset emails)

4. No-Log VPN Policy

EverKey does not log your browsing activity. We only track aggregate bandwidth usage (total bytes transferred) to enforce your data plan limits. We cannot see what websites you visit or what data you transmit through the VPN.

5. Data Storage & Security

Your account data is stored securely in Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore and Firebase Authentication). All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. VPN connections use Shadowsocks encryption.

Apple App Store: In-App Purchase processing (iOS)
Shopify: Payment processing (Android/web)

7. Data Retention & Deletion

You can delete your account at any time through the app's Settings screen. Account deletion removes your profile, VPN access key, and data balances. Payment records are retained for legal and accounting purposes.

8. Children's Privacy

EverKey is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
